Not a member of Toastmasters yet?

If you are interested in joining Stately Speakers, check the "Frequently Asked Questions" section for information about where and when we meet and what the dues are. The New Member and Initiation fees are one-time fees. Renewals are due every six months, in October and April.

Our meeting dates, the time, and place are also listed on the "Club Calendar." Maps showing the location of the Harry S Truman building and several of the State Annex buildings are included on "Directions."

We did it for a third year in a row!

Stately Speakers has reached all the goals needed to be named a President's Distinguished Toastmasters Club every year since we chartered in 2005. Congratulations to each member of Stately Speakers for contributing to these very significant goals!

"Available Downloads" in the "Members Only" section of the website includes a report showing which roles each member has filled between when the Club was formed in June 2005 and the end of June 2008. Look for this document to be updated at the end of each month. To see the roles that YOU have filled since June 2005, click on "Edit Your Member Profile" in the "Members Only" section. In addition to being able to review or edit the information about yourself, a listing of each of the roles and how many times you have filled them will appear under your picture (or the block that says "No Photo Uploaded" if you haven't uploaded a photo).

What are Member and Club Goals?

A link in the "Members Only" area is available for members to set their own goals. Relevant goals include attaining CC (Competent Communicator), AC (Accomplished Communicator) or DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) levels. By indicating on this chart what your individual goals are, the Vice President for Education can help you reach this goal by keeping track of which speeches you need to make before your target deadline for the goal.

Let's make it our personal goals to reach the next educational level by April 30, 2009. By doing so, we will have three more months to see what additional Club Goals we must meet to maintain our President Distinguished level for a fourth year in a row.
